Advancing Security and Operational Intelligence

Yellow speech bubble reading FEATURE UPDATES on keyboard

We’re excited to announce Release 22, the latest evolution of our AI-driven observability platform. This new update delivers powerful new innovations across data protection, role-based intelligence, Genesys Cloud visibility, reporting, and operational automation.

Strengthening Security and Compliance Without Sacrificing Visibility

As compliance requirements grow and organizations look to safely operationalize more data across analytics and AI initiatives, observability platforms must provide both insight and control.

Protect Sensitive Data

With new PII Obfuscation capabilities, users can now mask or replace sensitive information like names and phone numbers, all while preserving the operational context needed for troubleshooting, analytics, and reporting.

This helps:

  • Strengthen privacy controls and reduce breach exposure
  • Support compliance initiatives including GDPR, CCPA and PCI requirements
  • Safely enable analytics and AI initiatives using protected data
  • Reduce internal access risk through least-privilege principles

For regulated industries especially, this introduces another critical layer of assurance.

Deeper Role-Based Data Access Controls

Release 22 also expands our existing RBAC model with granular role-based data access, allowing organizations to pre-filter what users can see based on role, responsibility, geography, platform, endpoint or session type.

The result is more than security — it’s operational focus.

Teams can work from views tailored to what matters to them, while organizations gain stronger governance and compliance alignment.

Extending Visibility in Genesys Cloud Even Further

We continue to add to our Genesys Cloud capabilities with the ability to capture, store and analyze syslog messages from Genesys Poly endpoints. This adds an additional layer of data enrichment that goes beyond what is offered by Genesys and takes our deep Genesys Cloud support to the next level.

When issues like abrupt disconnects, failed calls, or registration problems occur, teams no longer need to recreate incidents and wait for them to happen again. Now they can:

  • Capture endpoint syslog data when issues occur
  • Correlate it with agent and station-level context
  • Accelerate root cause isolation and reduce MTTR
  • Proactively identify issues before they impact customer experience

It’s another example of how Nectar extends beyond platform-native visibility to provide operational intelligence others simply can’t.

Enablement That’s Easier to Access

Release 22 introduces integrated product training, announcements and documentation directly inside the DXP interface, bringing enablement into the workflow itself. From guided tours to “What’s New” announcements and embedded learning, this helps accelerate onboarding, drive feature adoption and reduce friction for users.

Turning Data into Action Faster

Major reporting enhancements have been added, including flexible new user and location experience reporting widgets and Service Provider Report Packs designed to provide immediate operational insight.

These updated reports help organizations:

  • Analyze user and location experience more flexibly
  • Surface trends faster through pivot-driven reporting
  • Reduce manual effort with pre-built report packs
  • Gain quicker value from deployment

It’s about moving from data collection to operational decision-making.

Expanding Intelligence with Ribbon SBC Knowledge Modules

We’ve also expanded our Vendor Knowledge Module (VKM) framework with support for Ribbon Communications SBC, helping reduce onboarding effort while improving continuous configuration discovery and monitoring intelligence.

This enhances:

  • Automated discovery and updates
  • KPI depth beyond traditional polling
  • Faster deployment and time to value
  • Richer monitoring insight across SBC environments

And VKMs for Cisco and Avaya SBCs are on the way.

Built to Keep Evolving

Release 22 is another step forward in our mission to help enterprises gain deeper visibility and assurance across every conversation.

From stronger privacy controls to expanded vendor intelligence, these innovations are built to solve real operational challenges.
